Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is a private university established in 1981 in Mumbai. if you were willing to take admission in any of top 15 B-Schools of India NMIMS is completely worth it. It has quite significant industry reputation, vast alumni base, very good faculty and excellent placements.
It is known for Marketing, Finance, IT and Operations. If you are seeking general management roles, companies do come and offer such roles but given a batch size of 500 only a handful people get it. You will get ample opportunities to learn and experiment, competition would be neck to neck because of all general candidates but Placements are 100% for sure.
NMIMS-School of Business Management provides an environment conducive to learning with world class amenities and facilities. The building is a 10-storey building with 60 plus classrooms. One floor is dedicated to the library and learning resource center with reading rooms. But one thing that would be missed is campus life experience. Rest, the academic building is no less than a high end shopping mall.

NMAT by GMAC is one of the most-awaited management entrance exams conducted in India. NMAT score is accepted by NMIMS University and 19 other management institutes for admission to MBA program. The exam will be held in a 75 days window.

Eligibility
Candidates require minimum 50% aggregate mark in graduation in any discipline from a recognized institute. The candidates from SC, ST, OBC and DA category need an aggregate of 45% marks. Final year graduation students can also apply provided they can submit the graduation final marks to the institutes within the requisite schedule.
Admission Process
1. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their NMAT scores.
2. The shortlisted candidates are then called to NMIMS Mumbai for a round of Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview (PI).

Fee for MBA in the Mumbai Campus for the academic term 2016-18 is 16.5 Lacks all costs exclude.
