The SNAP 2017 online registration and application process for admission to MBA 2018-20 in all the Symbiosis B-schools has started on August 10, 2017 and will remain open till November 24, 2017. SNAP 2017 exam is to be held in a single day single session from 2 PM to 4 PM on Sunday December 17, 2017.

SNAP 2017 exam has changed to become online computer based exam of 2 hours duration with 150 questions. SNAP exam 2017 will lead to admission in 15 Symbiosis MBA colleges in India. You need to apply separately to the preferred Symbiosis institute as per your choice.

Preparation Tips

Before you start your SNAP preparation, firstly make a list of important topics from syllabus and allot a topic for each day of the week. Set time limits for completing each topic and make sure you stick to them. Firstly, take a brief review of complete syllabus and then prepare section wise.

Verbal Section

Excel at Verbal Communication is the most important point for SNAP Preparation Tips Questions of this section revolve around the grammar and basics, so you just need to improve your vocabulary. Use the words and idioms you hear in everyday discussion. Solve around 10-15 questions on error finding sentences every day.

In beginner’s stage you must read newspaper articles (The Hindu is good) and articles from a few Indian Magazines like India Today, Outlook etc. Economist, WSJ or Mint online websites; they have well composed articles. Do not get slow by getting too much into why and how.

Quantitative Section

The Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation sections frequently hold typical questions. To learn how to attempt these, you need to start from the fundamentals. Learn important formulae and work on your speed to solve these questions.

Speed and accuracy are very important to finish this section on time and get each answer correctly. Try to Attempt easy category questions first such as Simplification, Problems on Ages, Percentage, Average, Simple Interest, Profit and Loss, Ratio & Proportions, etc.

Each topic has its own unique way to answer its questions and there are shortcuts that should be learned while practicing to improve speed. You should be familiar with the concepts and short cut routes to solving questions. Your speed also depends on how well you know each questions, so do not dwell on questions you are not particularly good at.

Logical Reasoning Section

Logical Reasoning consists of question types which test both mathematical and logical abilities. These questions are there is all MBA entrance exams, and present an interesting challenge to students. Logical Reasoning also known as critical thinking or analytic reasoning. The person with the higher logical reasoning ability is better equipped to work in position that required quick decision making.

Logical Reasoning problems are usually ‘all-or-nothing’ type, in the sense that if you crack the problem you will have answers to all the questions that follow, and if you don’t you will not be able to answer even a single question.
